During its 49th session, the Congress is organising a signing ceremony of bilateral memorandums of understanding with the cities of Kyiv and Rivne as well as the Lviv Agglomeration, which will take place on Tuesday 28 October at 13:00 in the Lobby of the Hemicycle in the Palais de l’Europe.
By signing the memorandums, Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, Acting Mayor of Rivne Viktor Shakyrzian and Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi commit to organising citizens’ assemblies in their cities in 2025 and 2026. Organised as a side event of, the ceremony will be opened by Congress President Marc Cools. Congress Secretary General Mathieu Mori will sign the memorandums on behalf of the Congress.
