First Consultation of Parties

The first Consultation of the
Parties discussed the first results of the Convention's
implementation in the respective States Parties. It also considered
the best means to ensure the follow-up to the implementation of the
Convention on a regular basis in the future. |
The
first Consultation of the Parties to the Council of Europe
Convention on the Prevention of Terrorism was held in Madrid on 12
May 2009 in the margins of the 119th session of the Committee of
Ministers. It was opened by Rt. Hon. Terry Davis, Secretary General
of the Council of Europe.
