Violent Extremism & Radicalisation
Violent Extremism and Radicalisation:
The Council of Europe’s Committee on Counter-Terrorism (CDCT) supports member States in addressing violent extremism and radicalisation through a range of practical tools and guidance. Recognising the evolving nature of these threats, including the diversity of organisational structures and ideologies, the CDCT draws on the experiences of member States and expert communities to develop responses that are effective, balanced, and respectful of human rights. This page brings together key resources produced by the CDCT to support prevention, prosecution, and reintegration efforts, and to help member States strengthen their legal, policy, and operational frameworks against violent extremism and radicalisation.
