27.04.12 - Mrs Scappucci introduces the key characteristics of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, also known as the “Lanzarote Convention”. She describes the aims of this convention and how this convention can have an impact on children's lives. She points out: “as far as prevention is concerned, it requests states to put in place structures to help them understand what is wrong and how to protect themselves”.
