The Committee of Ministers adopts two resolutions in the cases Confédération générale du Travail (CGT) v. France (Complaint No. 55/2009) and Confédération française de l’encadrement (CFE-CGC) v. France (Complaint No. 56/2009)
[12/04/2011] Further to the decision on the merits of the European Committee of Social Rights with regard to
Complaint no. 55/2009, and to the decision on the merits of the Committee with regard to
Complaint no. 56/2009, in which it was ruled that French legislation on working time does not respect some provisions on fair working conditions of the Revised Charter, the Committee of Ministers adopted
Resolution Res/CM/ChS(2011)4 and
Resolution Res/CM/ChS(2011)5 on 6 April 2011.
The Committee of Ministers takes note of the statement made by the government and the information it has communicated on the follow-up to the decision of the European Committee of Social Rights. All case documents relative to this complaint may be found on the
