Background note
After the three previous colloquies organised in 1995, 2000 and 2005, this event constitutes the next stage in the process of reviewing the human rights protection afforded to persons of concern to UNHCR. The Round Table will be the first in a series of discussions on the access to social rights by refugees and asylum seekers. This upcoming event will focus more specifically on the right to housing and property restitution for refugees and displaced persons.
