Cultural Diversity Cultural Policy and Cultural Diversity
The Cultural policy and cultural diversity project was carried out between 2001 and 2003. In the first phase, research focused primarily on Western Europe, with studies of diversity undertaken in seven countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and also, for comparative purposes, Canada). In the second and third phases of the project’s life, eight further studies were undertaken, with an emphasis on diversity in different parts of Eastern Europe (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine).
