Council of Europe standards for protection

 

The purposes of the convention are

4) to promote national and international co-operation against sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

This is done notably through
  • the establishment of coordinating bodies at national level
  • data collection mechanisms
  • cooperation amongst stakeholders and
  • exchange of information at international level.
