24.11.2011 – The organisation “Hope for Children” UNCRC Policy Centre successfully organized the event “We protect the Children”, in honour of Universal Children’s and of the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse at the Archaggelos-Lakatamia Gymnasium in Nicosia. George Theophanous, Good Will Ambassador of “Hope for children” and of the Council of Europe “ONE in FIVE” campaign, talked to more than 300 students.

Alongside a number of speakers, Mr Theophanous explained the children present the importance of protecting themselves and he drew particular attention to the Guidelines set out in the “Underwear Rule” of the Campaign.
