The Organization "Hope for Children“ (UNCRC Policy
Center) announced that it has entered into cooperation
with "Action Global Communications", with the main
target of promoting the ONE in FIVE Campaign against
sexual abuse of children through using a strategic
communication approach.
"Action Global Communications" plays a prominent role in
the field of Public Relations globally. Through
providing high quality services and in maintaining
consistency, "Action Global Communications" has been
successful in developing a powerful, international
network of partners. It has representatives in more than
40 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia,
the Middle East, North Africa and the Eastern
Mediterranean.
"Hope for Children", as official coordinating partner of
the Council of Europe, has undertaken the general
responsibility of overseeing Campaign targets for a
period of four years, including collecting signatures in
support of the ratification of the Lanzarote Convention,
and educating and sensitizing children, parents and
professionals (mainly teachers) on the extent of sexual
abuse of children and on preventive means to combat such
abuse.
The General-Director of “Hope for Children” Mr Joseph
Varughese stated at a seminar on cooperation with Action
Global Communications: "The ONE in FIVE Campaign is
considered a first priority for the Organization and we
appreciate greatly our liaison with prominent
professionals of the Public Relations sphere. We are
very glad of the fact that Action Global Communications
will support us in designing and implementing an
integrated communicational strategy. In this way it will
be possible to reach and inform all the interested
parties regarding the campaign against the sexual abuse
of children".
