Three new contact parliamentarians for the Council of Europe ONE in FIVE Campaign to stop sexual violence against children


16.11.2011 – Three new contact parliamentarians, respectively for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland and Montenegro, have been appointed by their national parliament for the Council of Europe ONE in FIVE Campaign, which brings the total number of contact parliamentarians to 43.

The network of contact parliamentarians aims at associating national parliamentarians with the Council of Europe ONE in FIVE Campaign to stop sexual violence against children and at promoting the signature and ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention).

The regular meetings of the network of contact parliamentarians for the ONE in FIVE Campaign is the ideal forum for sharing best practices with regard to strengthening national legislation and promoting the ONE in FIVE Campaign at national level.
