Congress continues to battle
sexual violence against children


23.11.2011 – ''Local and regional elected representatives have a responsibility to ensure that children’s rights are protected,'' said Congress President Keith Whitmore at the Conference on the Council of Europe Strategy for the Rights of the Child in Monaco on 20 November 2011.

In the conference the Congress also confirmed that it will battle all violence against children through various actions such as the local and regional dimension of the ONE in FIVE Campaign to stop sexual violence.
