The Lanzarote Committee is mandated to facilitate the collection, analysis and exchange of information, experience and good practices presented by Parties, civil society and other stakeholders to improve the capacity to prevent and combat sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children.

To do so, the Committee organises capacity building activities, such as study visits, conferences or hearings on specific challenges raised by the implementation of the Convention.

Organising and taking part in these activities represents a window of opportunity for all participants to make progress on the protection of children against sexual violence but also to attain greater visibility of the Lanzarote Convention.

“Keep me safe” from sexual violence is a documentary which illustrates good practices taking place in different member states through prevention, education and protection of victims and through promoting child-friendly justice.
