The handbook on “The Right to Life” was published under the EU- CoE Joint Project on “Supporting the Individual Application to the Constitutional Court in Turkey”.
The book written by Prof Osman Doğru who was also one of the academics that prepared the training module on “fundamental rights and freedoms” used in the training sessions of the project, aim to raise awareness and knowledge of legal professionals on the major decisions and principles of the Turkish Constitutional Court (TCC) and the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) related to the right to life.
The book, analysing the case laws of the TCC and the ECtHR on the basis of the right to life, was published in 6000 copies and will be distributed to the stakeholders of the project, legal professionals in training sessions and all law faculties in Turkey.
