The third Steering Committee meeting for the action “Quality Education for All” took place on 27 October 2020 via video conference.

The project activities were discussed and reviewed. An increase in COVID-19 cases caused schools to work under restrictions thus affecting the smooth delivery of certain action activities. Hence, the idea of digital democracy classrooms, which will entail the donation of relevant IT equipment to the pilot schools, was discussed. The aim is to encourage interaction between students of different ages and/or different backgrounds as well as between students and teachers from different countries, particularly in the region. This could replace and even upgrade initially envisaged school activities. The action`s partners expressed their strong support in continuing activities according to the revised work plan and committed to continue to provide full engagement during the crisis.

The event was organised within the framework of the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022” and its action on “Quality education for all” in Montenegro.
