In support of the sectorial anti-corruption action plan in the health sector, the CLEP project developed an Integrity Guide for Medical Professionals. The publication reflects the chapters of the Integrity Law no. 82/2017 and explains anti-corruption and integrity concepts focusing on the role of doctors and other medical professionals. A separate chapter is dedicated to the role and responsibilities of the managers of healthcare institutions.

On 7 October 2019, the guide was launched in a public event, co-organized with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection.

The Minister of Health , the Deputy Head of the National Anti-Corruption Centre and the Head of the Council of Europe Office presented the guide, the first of its kind in the Republic of Moldova, and discussed integrity challenges in the health sector in the country. The event was attended by forty participants from healthcare and anti-corruption institutions (24 women and 16 men), in addition to 8 media representatives.
