This page focuses on the implementation of CEFR key concepts in the classroom.

Selected, relevant CEFR descriptors can facilitate a close alignment of planning, teaching and assessment in the classroom. Descriptors can be used to select and structure a series of activities, to explain objectives to learners, to monitor student performance in collaborative activities. The CEFR recommends an action-oriented approach, which encourages student agency through a synergy between collaborative work and personal reflective work.
