Building media skills to be the voice of victims of human trafficking, improve anti-trafficking reporting and strive for impactful journalism

On 27 June 2023, the project "Enhancing anti-trafficking actions", in co-operation with the Kosovo Journalists Association, concluded a 2-day training which addressed the importance of victim-centred reporting, protection of the dignity and integrity of survivors, as well as raising public awareness through accurate reporting. In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Board of the Kosovo Journalists Association , Mr. Xhemajl Rexha, noted that this training will provide journalists with knowledge on how to approach this subject with sensitivity, be the voice of those who cannot speak, and shed light on the aspects that can support victims of trafficking, while respecting their dignity and integrity.

The training was attended by thirty journalists and journalism students.
