On 19 February 2020, in the framework of a campaign aimed at both combatting violence at schools and supporting awareness-raising on criminal liability and other related issues, a meeting was organised with school children at Gori public school No. 5. The campaign implies informative visits at public schools throughout the country. First meetings of this campaign took place in public schools of Tbilisi. The school campaign will continue until 2021 and will cover other regions of Georgia.

This activity was organised within the framework of the CoE Project “Juvenile and Adult Detainees Support” (JADES) which is designed to address issues related to the rights of detained persons and their treatment; crimes committed by/against juveniles; effective remedies against police misconduct and effective investigation of the alleged ill-treatment.
