European Union and Council of Europe continue to support the Judicial Training Centre in Montenegro to further improve training needs assessment and delivery

Based on the results of the Functional analysis of the Judicial Training Centre (JTC) produced in 2020, the European Union and the Council of Europe continue to provide support to the JTC to further improve its training needs assessment (TNA), delivery methods and tools.

Under the action "Accountability and professionalism of the judicial system in Montenegro", a process has been recently undertaken to improve TNA approach and tools, to enable in turn the JTC to better respond to the training needs of judges and prosecutors. Through this process, the action seeks to improve TNA methodology and to enhance the role of JTC Programming Council in this process, while expanding the scope of modern judicial training methods and tools.

The action "Accountability and professionalism of the judicial system in Montenegro" is being implemented under the joint programme of the European Union and the Council of Europe "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022".
