ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

On the eve of the 10th anniversary of the entry into force of the Istanbul Convention, a renewed political commitment at the highest level is key to address the numerous and multifaceted challenges to gender equality. This conference, organised by the Council of Europe, will highlight the political will of its member States, as expressed at the highest level in Reykjavik and through the Council of Europe Gender Equality Strategy 2024-2029.
