Back No. 121/2016 Equal Rights Trust (ERT) v. Bulgaria

The complaint registered on 25 April 2016, relates to Article 12 (right to social security), 16 (right to appropriate social, legal and economic protection for the family), 17 (right of children and young persons to appropriate social, legal and economic protection) taken alone or in conjunction with the non-discrimination clause set forth in Article E of the Revised European Social Charter. The complainant organisation, Equal Rights Trust (ERT), alleges that the Family Allowances for Children Act [‘FACA’], as amended on 28 July 2015, violates the above mentioned provisions.
