The 3rd meeting of the CoE-FRA-ENNHRI-EQUINET Collaborative Platform on economic and social rights aims at increasing mutual awareness and knowledge among partners, with a focus on providing updates about practices in monitoring the respect of social and economic rights at the national, regional and international level. Specifically, participants will explore the relationship between the recently proposed by the European Commission “European Pillar of Social Rights” and the European Social Charter, and examine proposals for relevant indicators for monitoring respect for social and economic rights under these mechanisms. Furthermore, the Platform will identify further capacity building needs for 2017.
The meeting is organised at the initiative of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of Serbia, Brankica Janković, who will open the meeting.
