Back No. 251/2025 Justicia Policial (JUPOL) v. Spain

The complaint was registered on 28 août 2025. It relates to Article 6§§2 and 4 (the right to bargain collectively) of the revised European Social Charter.  JUPOL alleges that the Spanish Personnel Regime of the National Police does not allow trade unions to conduct actual and effective collective bargaining on essential matters such as working conditions, pay and organisation, and does not offer alternative mechanisms to compensate for the prohibition of the right to strike, in violation of the aforementioned provisions of the Charter.

The European Committee of Social Rights declared the complaint admissible on 20 January 2026.
