The 7th meeting of the CoE-FRA-ENNHRI-EQUINET Collaborative Platform on Social and Economic Rights to be held on 28 November 2018 in the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, France, aims in particular at improving the understanding of current trends and challenges relating to the right to housing, discussing the effectiveness of existing tools and frameworks at national, European and international level to guarantee the right to housing and examining possible synergies between national and international institutions.
The Platform will also discuss the effective engagement of national human rights institutions and national equality bodies with the European Committee of Social Rights, the implementation of the European Social Charter and synergies with the European Pillar of Social Rights in order to address potential gaps in implementation at national level.
