Training on Cybersecurity in Skopje

The Mother Teresa University in Skopje, North Macedonia, organized a training session for 120 university students (60 in pilot group and 60 in control group) on 1 November, which aimed to empower them on online risks prevention through a methodology developed by the European research project ‘Prevention of Youth Risky Viral Trends’ – PRV-FieldYouth (11/2022 – 10/2025). Post-test data analysis revealed that the intervention group outperformed the control group by 17.25%.

The project PRV-FieldYouth aims to address digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity, to increase quality, innovation and recognition of youth work, apart from promote active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship.

The above good practices have been shared via the Digital Citizenship Education (DCE) Promoters Network, created in 2019 to facilitate the implementation of DCE in schools and other non-formal and/or informal learning contexts, and for its promotion at local, regional and national levels. DCE promoters have carried out numerous activities aimed at policymakers, teachers, students, teacher trainers, families and school inspectors.
