After the productive 2024 EFCN Annual Assembly in Viscri (Romania), hosted by the Mihai Eminescu Trust, this year’s Assembly was held on 29 and 30 September 2025 in the vibrant city of Novi Sad (Serbia) and was hosted by the Almašani Association.
EFCN members had the opportunity to set priorities for the future, including youth involvement, gentrification and urban regeneration with respect to cultural heritage. Moreover, following the Italian and French excellent examples, EFCN members reflected on the possibility of establishing new national Faro Convention networks.
This year’s Assembly was an excellent opportunity to once again ascertain the high impact of the Faro Convention on civil society and to witness its positive effects in Novi Sad first-hand.
