On 11 May 2021 the COP President Mr Ioannis Androulakis held an exchange of views with the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Rapporteur Group on Legal Cooperation. At the occasion, Mr Androulakis presented the COP 198 Activity report for the period 2018-2020, including the outputs of the COP horizontal review mechanism, and cooperation with other bodies in the CoE, such as MONEYVAL and the Committee on Counterterrorism. He noted the significant added value of the CETS 198 Convention, including in ensuring appropriate powers for financial intelligence units. During the exchange of views a number of CoE member-states emphasised the need to expand the membership of the COP to include those CoE members, which have yet to sign and ratify the Convention, as well as non-member states
