@ Council of Europe

A wide group of relevant state agencies and organisations engaged in a workshop dedicated to interagency and interdisciplinary cooperation of Armenia's Probation Service with other stakeholders aimed at boosting collaboration and knowledge exchange. The event, held on 10 November 2023 in Yerevan, brought together representatives of several state agencies, the judiciary and civil society, Council of Europe national and local consultants and officials from Armenia's Probation Service.

During the event the diverse and multistakeholder audience demonstrated a shared commitment to strengthen and improve the work of Armenia's Probation Service through effective interagency collaboration. The participants discussed findings and recommendations of the Council of Europe needs assessment report and presented their views on the issues such as application of alternative measures of restraints (home arrest, administrative control), information sharing, re-socialization and rehabilitation of offender.

They also stressed the importance of further discussions aiming at exploring various platforms of inter-agency cooperation.
