At their 1559th meeting, on 6 May, the Ministers’ Deputies finalised their preparation of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers (Chişinău, 14-15 May 2026).
In a series of decisions on the conflict in Georgia, the Deputies reiterated their strong support for Georgia’s sovereignty and condemned the continued presence and actions of Russian forces in the regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali/South Ossetia.
They also took note of the following documents:
- the annual activity report 2025 of the Centre of Expertise for Multilevel Governance;
- the report of the Governor and the financial report for the year 2025 of the Council of Europe Development Bank.
