At their 1544th meeting, on 26 November, the Ministers’ Deputies adopted the final text of the Convention on the co-production of audiovisual works in the form of series – the first international legal framework specifically dedicated to the independent co-production of series for television and streaming platforms [more information …].
The Deputies held their regular exchange of views with Secretary General Alain Berset, focusing on the ongoing peace talks around Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine [more information …].
They also held an exchange of views with Ms Claire Bazy Malaurie, outgoing President of the Venice Commission, on the 35th anniversary of the Commission and its current and future activities. The Deputies thanked Ms Bazy Malaurie for her commitment and perseverance during her presidential mandate.
