The acting Chairperson of the Committee of the Parties to the Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (the Lanzarote Committee), Ms Maria José Castello-Branco, held an exchange of views with the Committee of Ministers Deputies on 16 November 2022. She presented the key achievements of the Lanzarote Committee in 2022 with a particular focus on the main findings of its implementation report on addressing the challenges raised by child self-generated sexual images and/or videos adopted in March 2022, and the awareness raising tools developed on the basis of its monitoring work on Protecting children affected by the refugee crisis from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse.
