A new training session dedicated to judicial leadership and court management is being held today November 27 and tomorrow November 28, 2025, in Rabat. Organized by the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ), in partnership with the Supreme Council of the Judiciary of Morocco and the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, this initiative follows a first edition that brought together more than 90 women magistrates last June 2025.
Around 60 magistrates are participating in this session, which focuses on issues related to the organisation and functioning of courts, as well as on those leadership skills essential for assuming judicial responsibilities.
The training, led by an expert from the French National School for the Judiciary and supported by Moroccan judicial officials, aims to strengthen the capacities of participants who currently hold or are expected to hold positions of responsibility within the judicial system. The training session provides participants with tools to optimize court management and human relations, improve decision-making in times of crisis, enhance institutional influence, and lead change policies, develop effective internal communication, and promote the establishment of mediation procedures. Particular attention will be given to balancing professional and personal life, recognized as a key factor for well-being and sustainable performance.
This activity is part of the project “Towards a More Protective, Accessible, and Effective Justice in Morocco (MA-JUST)”, co-financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the latter.
