Communication strategy for the judiciary in Azerbaijan

The Council of Europe is preparing an expert advice to Azerbaijani judicial authorities on steps to disseminate CEPEJ tools on “Communication strategy for the judiciary”.

Online meetings with the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Republic were organized during June-July in order to discuss and assess the current situation of judicial communication with the public and media in the country.

The action is aimed to develop a strategy document that will reflect the rules of the communication between courts and the media in Azerbaijan.

The activity is being organized in the framework of the CEPEJ cooperation project "Strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in Azerbaijan" under the Partnership for Good Governance II (PGG II), which is funded jointly by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
