On the 24th of October 2024, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia will publicly honour the Slovenian Day of Justice (November 4) and the European Day of Justice by organising an Open Day of the Supreme Court for the general public. The event, aimed at promoting the transparency and understanding of the judiciary, will take place in the court palace in Ljubljana. For the first time, visitors will get to know the work and protocol rooms of the Supreme Court under the guidance of the Public Relations Office. The visit will also include the meeting with the President of the Supreme Court.

2024 marks the 30 years anniversary since judges' robes were introduced in Slovenian courts. The exhibition of robes at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia between the 24th of October 24 and the 7th of November 2024 will present the rich history of these recognizable judicial insignia for the first time and offer visitors a unique opportunity to see more than 20 robes used in different Supreme courts throughout Europe.
