Preparation of guidelines for videoconferencing in judicial proceedings as a priority for the new working group of the CEPEJ on artificial intelligence and Cyberjustice

The Working Group on artificial intelligence and cyberjustice of the CEPEJ (CEPEJ-CYBERJUST) will discuss the use of videoconferencing in judicial proceedings during its meeting on 11 and 12 March 2021. Guidelines on videoconferencing are being prepared as a direct answer to the request of the CEPEJ members to develop a tool to ensure the continuation of judicial proceedings in times of crisis and beyond. Other aspects on the agenda of the Working Group are online dispute resolution, online enforcement procedures and electronic court filing. These topics will be discussed on the basis of analytical overviews of the state of play prepared by CEPEJ experts.
