The Working Group on evaluation of judicial systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL) will meet in Strasbourg on 6 and 7 February 2020 and will focus on the preparation of the next report on the evaluation of judicial systems to be published in October 2020 on the basis of the 2018 data. This bi-annual evaluation report will have a new presentation, it should be shorter, less descriptive, more focused on the main European trends in the field of justice and presenting country fact sheets including a number of relevant indicators. This new evaluation cycle will also highlight its online version, CEPEJ-STAT, which will contain a new scoreboard on CEPEJ efficiency indicators. The working group will also take stock of the collection of judicial data and statistics received from member States, its entities and observer States participating in the exercise which are 50 to date. Co-operation with the European Commission, in the framework of the European Union Justice Scoreboard and the Dashboard for the Western Balkans, as well as new requests for co-operation will also be on the agenda of this meeting.
