On the occasion of the online conference of Ministers of Justice on 9 November 2020, the President of the CEPEJ, Mr Ramin Gurbanov, officially presented the CEPEJ evaluation report on judicial systems.
He recalled in particular that the CEPEJ report, published on 22nd October 2020, is a reference point at European level thanks to the quality of its data and analyses, and an important tool for guiding public policies in the field of justice.
The report has been presented by means of examples of key data, concerning justice budgets, gender issues among judges and the performance of courts. It has been transmitted electronically to the Ministers of Justice during the Conference.
The President of the CEPEJ underlined the innovative form of the Report which is presented in three parts: an analysis of European trends, individual country fact sheets, and the CEPEJ-STAT tool, a dynamic online public database, gathering statistical data transmitted by the member States and collected by the CEPEJ since 2010.
Mr. Gurbanov took the opportunity to thank the Ministers of Justice for their unfailing support in the collection of data necessary for the preparation of the Evaluation Report.
