The CEPEJ Working Group on the Evaluation of Judicial Systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL) will hold its 48th meeting in Venice on March 6-7, 2025. During this meeting, the group will primarily focus on implementing the reform of the CEPEJ evaluation of judicial systems cycles, which notably aims to modify the content and frequency of report publications by presenting more up-to-date data annually instead of every two years. The working group will discuss in particular the impact of this reform on the timetable for the preparation of the 2026 Evaluation Report, its content, the evaluation questionnaire (which will be open in autumn 2025 based on 2025 data), and potential new indicators to be introduced. The harmonisation of CEPEJ’s various data collection processes (the evaluation cycle and regional data collection for the scoreboard of European Union countries and for the Dashboards Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries) will also be a key topic of discussion.
