The CEPEJ Working Group on the evaluation of judicial systems (CEPEJ-GT-EVAL) held its 45^th meeting in Strasbourg on 17 and 19 October. At this meeting, the Group discussed preparations of the 2024 evaluation cycle, based on 2022 data, focusing on the structure of the next Evaluation report on European judicial systems, the timetable of its preparation and ways of improving the visibility, use and dissemination of the report once it has been published. The Group also examined the specific studies on justice professionals, based on CEPEJ data from 2020 and prepared by the European Expertise and Expert Institute (EEEI), the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ), and the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE), observers within the Working Group. The cooperation with the European Commission developed within the framework of the CEPEJ's evaluation activities (European Union Justice Scoreboard, Dashboard Western Balkans and Dashboard Eastern Partnership) was also discussed, as was the proposals for the Terms of References of the Working Group for the period 2024-2025, which will be submitted to the CEPEJ members at the plenary meeting in December 2023. Finally, the Group  prepared the meeting of CEPEJ national correspondents that was scheduled on 18 October.
