European Day of Justice25 October 2013

The European Day of Justice is celebrated each year around the 25 October. It aims to bring justice closer to citizens, to inform them on their rights and to to promote the work of the Council of Europe and the European Commission in the field of justice, through simulation of procedures and information sessions.

This day is open to all european citizens, students and people who work in the field of justice.

The Council of Europe invites representatives from the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) to inform about their projects in their respective countries for this special day.

Call for events - European Day of Civil Justice - 2013

Judicial institutions in the Council of Europe member States are invited to participate actively in the celebration of the 2013 Europeay Day of Civil Justice by organising events for the general public (in particular the youth) and for judicial professionals. The programmes of the various events will be published on the CEPEJ website. Judicial institutions in the member States are requested to inform Annette.Sattel [at] coe.int of their programme as soon as possible.

The main event of this day, in which representatives of the Council of Europe and of the European Commission will participate, will take place on 25 October 2013 in Luxembourg, in the framework of the Conference “Civil Justice” which is part of the training programme of the Notaries for Europe of the European Union “Europe for the Notaries – The Notaries for Europe”.
