I would like to welcome you to the web portal of the Office of the Council of Europe in Bosnia and Herzegovina!
On this web site you can find information related to the activities of our office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, links to relevant information, news and documents (conventions, reports, recommendations, etc.) of the Council of Europe. While we will try, on one hand, to provide you with the insight into as many important documents as possible, in the languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina, most of them will be available only in the official languages of the organisation - English and French.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a member state of the organization since 2002 and has been actively involved in all aspects of the mission and the work of the Council of Europe .
Our office in BiH contributes to this partnership, sometimes by reminding of the obligations arising from membership, but always with Bosnia and Herzegovina, its government, institutions and citizens, on the way to European integration. All 47 member states of the Organisation, jointly strive to constantly improve the quality of our democracy, value of our human rights and the strength of our rule of law, thus building a better, more fair and safer European society for all of us .
In this respect, I invite you to feel free to surf through our new web portal and I hope you will discover many new and useful information.
