The Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo is calling upon journalists and editors from Bosnia and Herzegovina to apply for a two-day training course on reporting during election campaigns.

The purpose of this training is to support professional, accurate and balanced reporting on elections and the electoral process, with a particular focus on the legal framework, the roles of key institutions, as well as the challenges posed by digitalisation, disinformation and emerging media trends.

Through practical sessions and discussions, participants will improve their understanding of election reporting standards and further develop their skills for reporting on Election Day.

The training programme will take place from 1–3 September 2026 in the Sarajevo area. The exact location will be announced at a later date.

The organisers will cover the costs of full-board accommodation for two nights.

The number of participants is limited to 25. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional training sessions may be organised should the number of applications greatly exceed expectations.
