WHAT YOU CAN DO…
. Measure the environmental impact of your daily activities and think about cleaner alternatives in terms of energy consumption; water consumption; car or public transport option / pollution generated during your daily travels; consumer practices (pollution impact of ones choices when shopping such as local products / imported products);
. Contact the Town Hall or local authorities to determine whether a policy of sustainable development is being implemented at the municipality;
. Identify/contact local NGOs involved in sustainable development/environment and participate in/support/disseminate its activities;
. Organise with local authorities/NGOs/local media awareness campaigns (recycling, green space, planting trees, etc…);
. Create a local network comprising local authorities/NGOs/local media/schools (...) for awareness raising actions or activities throughout the year;
. Interview people in your setting about 3 priorities to help the planet, and share the video on-line;
. Share your initiatives or check events happening in your country with the GEW network coordinator in your country ;
