Young people advise Council of Europe on the digital lives of children with disabilities

A brainstorming meeting on 21 April on the digital lives of children with disabilities confirmed need for further research
  Call for good practices on positive and non-violent parenting
To support the elimination of corporal punishment of children, the Council of Europe, in cooperation with the European Commission, aims to develop a repository of educational and awareness raising tools promoting positive and non-violent parenting. 
  Albania focuses on children’s rights
On 26 March 2015, a Round table on children’s right: combating violence against children, child-friendly justice, integrated strategies, will be held in Tirana, Albania, organised in the context of the Action Plan of the Committee of Ministers for Albania.
  11th Meeting of the Lanzarote Committee 16-19 March 2015, The Hague, Netherlands
The Lanzarote Committee will take part in a study visit organised by Europol at its headquarters on Monday 16 March 2015. This study visit will allow the Lanzarote Committee to know more about Europol’s activities against sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Following this visit, the Lanzarote Committee will hold its 11th meeting on 17-19 March 2015
Corporal punishment of children: Council of Europe finds France in breach of the European Social Charter
Strasbourg, 04.03.2015 – In a decision published today, the Council of Europe’s European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) has found that the corporal punishment of children is not prohibited in a sufficiently clear, binding and precise manner under French law or case-law.
