11th Meeting of the Lanzarote Committee 16-19 March 2015, The Hague, Netherlands 

13.03.2015 The Lanzarote Committee will take part in a study visit organised by Europol at its headquarters on Monday 16 March 2015. This study visit will allow the Lanzarote Committee to know more about Europol’s activities against sexual exploitation and abuse of children. Following this visit, the Lanzarote Committee will hold its 11th meeting on 17-19 March 2015, during which it will pursue its monitoring work on the protection of children against sexual abuse in the circle of trust. A draft opinion on Article 23 of the Lanzarote Convention (Solicitation of children for sexual purposes, also known as “grooming”) will be examined in view of its adoption.
