ProS4+ Seminar - Promoting CETS 218

In co-operation with the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior, the Education and Sports Department and Football and Basketball Associations, the Council of Europe / European Union joint project ProS4+ is organising a training seminar in Vilnius (Lithuania) from 13 to 15 March 2018.

The training seminar entitled “Safe, secure and welcoming sports events: Promoting the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Safety, Security and Service Approach at Football Matches and Other Sports Events” aims to promote the integrated approach through the demonstration of principles enshrined in the new Convention and the good practices inherent to Standing Committee Recommendation (2015)1.

It will bring together, among others, senior policy makers, NFIP personnel, match commanders, club safety officers, municipality authorities responsible for organising sports events, representatives of football and basketball associations, , fan representatives and private security sector.  Other European partners such as UEFA, SD Europe and Centre for Access to Football in Europe (CAFE) will also contribute to this training event.
