The Library of the Chamber of Notaries of Montenegro has been enriched with publications of the new Code of Notary Ethics. Around 200 copies of the Code of Notary Ethics were printed under the joint European Union/Council of Europe action "Accountability and professionalism of the judicial system in Montenegro" and delivered to the Chamber.

The new Code of Notary Ethics was prepared with the action's support and adopted by the Chamber of Notaries in December 2020. It provides for an improved framework for ethical liability of notaries in Montenegro, in line with relevant international standards and best practices of the Council of Europe member states.

The action "Accountability and professionalism of the judicial system in Montenegro" is a part of the joint European Union/Council of Europe Programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019 - 2022”.
