Luxembourg has launched its National Campaign on the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention). It comprises a Website and a Clip which will be broadcasted on radio, TV and cinemas all over Luxembourg.

Luxembourg ratified the Istanbul Convention on 7 August 2018 and it entered into force, on 1 December 2018. According to the provisional timeline, GREVIO will start the monitoring procedure with respect to Luxembourg in 2020.
