Back Potential models of reporting corruption by entrepreneurs in the Russian Federation discussed

On 8 October 2018, PRECOP II organised in co-operation with the Regional Business Ombudsperson of Primorky Krai, the 1st workshop on “Potential models of confidential mechanism of reporting corruption by entrepreneurs” in Vladivostok, Russian Federation.

Two Council of Europe experts presented the first draft of the Technical Paper discussing potential models of reporting corruption by entrepreneurs through the institute of Business Ombudspersons on the basis of international good practices and experience. The workshop participants took active part in discussions and provided their feedback regarding the potential for implementation of the suggested models in the Russian Federation along with sharing their own experience of processing reports on corruption.

The workshop was attended by representatives of Federal and Regional Business Ombudspersons offices from 20 Russian regions – both the project’s pilot regions and beyond, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the Prosecutor’s Office, municipal authorities and civil society of Primorsky Krai.
